1,000 new stock trading accounts opened in first quarter

A source released by the State Securities Commission (SSC) said that in the first quarter of this year, there have been over 1,000 new accounts opened in the Vietnamese stock market by investors.
In March, operations of securities companies are increasing strongly against previous months, especially stock brokering, underwriting and financial consultancy.
According to the SSC, in March, total securities self-trading value of securities companies are estimated at 16.1 billion dong, an increase of nearly 13 billion dong against the previous month. Total bonds self-trading value of securities companies reached 2.045 trillion dong, up nearly one trillion dong against February.
Unlisted securities self-trading value of securities companies reached 182.1 billion dong.
