ADB finances US$1b to develop water supply and drainage system in Vietnam

Asian Development Bank (ADB)’s representative on November 9 worked with Da Nang People’s Committee Chair, Tran Van Minh, on investing in water supply projects in Da Nang City during 2010-2015 period.

According to ADB, these water supply and drainage projects are under ADB’s credit programme designed for Vietnam with the total value of up to US$1 billion within a decade from 2010 to 2020. Of which, HCM City, Hai Phong, Hue and Da Nang are four prioritised cities for carrying out this capital source.
