ADB funds 580,000 euro for Cat Tien National Park

Edouard Danjoy director of French Agency for Development (AFD), on March 8 in Hanoi, signed a non-refundable credit item worth 580,000 euro for the project to protect hoof animals in Cat Tien National Park.
The sum of money is to preserve Gaurs bull from extinction risk. The project is not only to seek and manage the rare animal specie but also build general plan system to develop Cat Tien National Park and its surrounding areas in the future.
This is a part of BIODIVA large project funded by France’s World Environment Fund with the capital of 1.5 million euro that preserves and upgrade Vietnam’s biodiversity of domestic and wild animals.
