Kamoro tribesmen carrying their sons participate in “karapau”, a ritual to mark a rite of passage to adulthood, in Timika, a district in the eastern Indonesian province of Papua, February 21, 2009. Parents sing and dance with their sons during this ritual, in the hope that their sons will continue to live in peace with nature.
