‘Amanda O’ now sold to 22 countries following its entry into the Far East through sales to Vietnam and Philippines

This increases the number of countries that have acquired the series to 22.

“Amanda O” has also received two nominations in the upcoming 2009 Martin Fierro Awards. The show has been nominated in the Best Comedy Series category and for Natalia Oreiro as Best Actress in a Comedy Series.

“Amanda O”, produced by Dori Media Contenidos, also recently won a Merit Award for Internet Site Streaming from The Accolade Competition. The Accolade Awards recognise film, television and videography professionals who demonstrate exceptional achievement in craft and creativity, and those who produce standout entertainment shows or contribute to profound social change.

Recent figures released by Novebox.com, the first global social community website dedicated to Telenovelas, indicate that “Amanda O” has been viewed 800,000 times by users from Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay since its launch.
