Anti-corruption to be caught at schools

A project to teach anti-corruption to government officials and students was discussed at a government Inspectorate seminar in Hanoi. Officials under training at administrative and political institutes, government ministry and departmental management staff and students at universities, junior colleges and vocational schools were potential candidates for the course.

The subject could even be taught to students from primary schools to high schools.

The government Inspectorate plans to carry out a trial project from 2008-2010 and the legal department of the government Inspectorate vice director, Nguyen Ngoc Tan, said a survey conducted in 12 ministries and departments revealed the importance of this subject being included in the school curriculum.
