April 16: UPCoM-Index Closes Up Following Official Bourses

The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 130 unlisted public companies closed up on Monday, following the official bourse on. Liquidity decreased.

The index gained 0.15 point or 0.43 percent to close at 34.92.The gauge started with given mark of 100 on June 24, 2009 but it has never been back to that level.

The market volume fell to 249,000 shares changed hands for VND1.77 billion, compared with 1,924,500 units for VND10.78 billion last Friday.

The market breadth was positive with 21 gainers, 14 losers, 9 unmoved and the rest untraded.

TDS was the biggest gainer today, climbing VND3,500 to close at VND12,600 on a trade of 300 shares.

HPP was the biggest loser, giving up VND1,700 to hit the floor at VND16,100 with 100 units changed hands.

CLS was the most active stock today with 39,000 shares traded, losing VND100 to close at VND3,900/unit.

Foreigners bought 30,000 WSB shares and sold 37,000 WSB shares today.
