April 3: UPCoM-Index Closes Up Following Official Bourses
The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 130 unlisted public companies closed up on Tuesday, following the official bourses. Liquidity improved.
The index added 0.06 point, or 0.17 percent to close at 35.09. The gauge started with given mark of 100 on June 24, 2009 but it has never been back to that level.
The market volume increased to 279,856 shares changed hands for VND1.32 billion, compared with 182,324 shares changed hands for VND1.23 billion on Friday trading.
The market breadth was positive with 16 gainers, 10 losers, 8 unmoved and the rest untraded.
GDW was the biggest gainer, climbing VND2,300 to finish at VND27,500 on a trade of 3,100 shares.
WSB was the biggest loser, giving up VND1,600 to close at VND19,000 with 700 units changed hands.
SHP was the most active stock with 100,000 shares traded, adding VND200 to close at VND4,300.
Foreigners stayed on the sidelines today.
