August 1: UPCoM-Index Falls Following Suit of Official Bourses
The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 131 unlisted public companies, resumed losing track on Wednesday following losses in the official bourses.
The index shed 0.03 points, or 0.08 percent, to end at 37.17. The market volume totalled 210,000 shares valued at VND1.2 billion, compared with 285,000 shares and VND2.17 billion from a day earlier.
Among index members, 8 increased in value, 16 tumbled, and 107 closed unmoved. Up to 102 stocks closed untraded.
VKD was the biggest gainer, climbing 39 percent to finish at VND5,000 on a trade of 1,800 shares.
TMN was the biggest loser, erasing 10 percent to close at VND2,700 on a trade of 200 units.
VSP was the most active on the gauge with 69,000 shares changed hands, which slumped 3.85 percent to end at VND2,500.
Foreigners net sold VND23.25 million worth of shares on this bourse today..
