August 14: UPCoM-Index Falls From 17 Month High
The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 131 unlisted public companies, bucked trend to close down today after staying at 17 month high for 2 days.
The index lost 0.15 point, or 0.4 percent, to end at 37.34.
The market volume rose to 574, 773 shares valued at VND6.78 billion, compared with 550,000 shares valued at VND6.27 billion from a day earlier.
Market breadth was negative with 9 gainers, 14losers, 8 unmoved, and the rest untraded.
PTD was the biggest gainer, climbing 38.3 percent to finish at VND6,500 on a trade of 5,000 shares.
DVH was the biggest loser, erasing 40 percent to close at VND5,100 on a trade of 21,200 units.
DAP was the most active on the gauge with a trade of 369,600 shares which rose closed flat at VND12,400.
Foreigners stayed on the sidelines today.
