August 15: Foreigners Turn to Net Buy on STC, Sell on HNX

Foreigners continued net buy Vietnamese shares on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange but net sold on the northern bourse, level of participation rose to nearly half of the trading value.

These players net bought VND5.29 billion worth of shares on STC after buying 5.17 million shares for VND450.2 billion and selling 4.88 million units for VND444.92 billion, accounting for 46.48 percent buying value and 45.93 percent selling value.

Today, foreigners’ top buying shares also included DPM(VND6.8 billion), GAS (VND4.7 billion), MBB(VND4.5 billion), HVG (VND2.1 billion) and HSG (VND1.7 billion).

Foreigners’ top selling shares were VCB(-VND6.8 billion), CTG(-VND4.3billion), STB(-VND2.1 billion), PGD(-VND2 billion) and BVH(-VND1.6 billion).

On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, foreigners net sold VND7.47 billion worth of shares after buying 310,200 shares for VND2.4 billion and selling 1,264,500 units for VND9.87 billion, accounting for 0.81 percent buying value and 3.34 percent selling value.

They actively bought VCS, PMC, DBC, VC1, TCT while they actively offloaded HBB, PVS, PLC, VCG and PVX shares.
