August 16: Foreigners Continue Net Buy on STC, Sell on HNX

Foreigners continued net buy Vietnamese shares on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange but net sold on the northern bourse, level of participation eased.

These players net bought VND11.86 billion worth of shares on STC after buying 1.8 million shares for VND75.67 billion and selling 1,4 million units for VND63.81 billion, accounting for 15.50 percent buying value and 13.07 percent selling value.

Today, foreigners’ top buying shares also included GAS (VND9.7 billion), VIC (VND4.8 billion), MBB(VND3.4 billion), MSN (VND1.5 billion) and VSH (VND1.1 billion).

Foreigners’ top selling shares were PVD(-VND4.7 billion), DPM(-VND1.6 billion), HAG(-VND1.5 billion), STB(-VND0.9 billion) and KDC(-VND0.6 billion).

On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, foreigners net sold VND10.25 billion worth of shares after buying 310,400 shares for VND4.17 billion and selling 963,428 units for VND14.43 billion, accounting for 1.3 percent buying value and 4.57 percent selling value.

They actively bought VND, LAS, THT, TCT, SED while they actively offloaded DBC, PLC, PVS, PGS, and PVX shares.
