August 2: Foreigners Net Buy Vietnamese Shares on Both Bourses
Foreigners continued to net buy Vietnamese shares on both two bourses today but level of participation stayed low.
These players net bought VND23.45 billion worth of shares on STC after buying 1.2 million shares for VND38.78 billion and selling 0.66 million units for VND15.34 billion, accounting for 11.72 percent buying value and 4.64 percent selling value.
Today, foreigners’ top buying shares also included GAS (VND11.7 billion), VIC (VND8 billion), HBC(VND1.1 billion), and DPM (VND0.9 billion).
Foreigners’ top selling shares were SSI(-VND0.6billion), CSG(-VND0.5 billion), VSH(-VND0.5 billion), HAG(-VND0.4 billion) and PNJ(-VND0.4 billion).
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, foreigners net bought VND7.61 billion worth of shares after buying 0.9 million shares for VND10.37 billion and selling 0.21 million units for VND2.76 billion, accounting for 2.4 percent buying value and 0.64 percent selling value.
They actively bought VND, PVX, SED, CPC, VNT while they actively offloaded PVS, SDT, PLC S55 and STC shares.
