August 3: Foreigners Extend Net Buying on STC, Sell on HNX

Foreigners continued to net buy Vietnamese shares on the primary bourse STC but they changed to net sell shares on the smaller cap bourse HNX, level of participation rose.

These players net bought VND46.88 billion worth of shares on STC after buying 2.2 million shares for VND73.1 billion and selling 0.82 million units for VND26.22 billion, accounting for 19.02 percent buying value and 6.82 percent selling value.

Today, foreigners’ top buying shares also included KDC (VND26.4 billion), GAS (VND11.5 billion), VIC(VND4.6billion), and DPM (VND3.7 billion) and MSN (VND2 billion).

Foreigners’ top selling shares were BVH(-VND3.9billion), BMC(-VND1 billion), TDH(-VND1 billion), PNJ(-VND0.6 billion) and VNM(-VND0.5 billion).

On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, foreigners net sold VND2.29 billion worth of shares after buying 0.15 million shares for VND1.84 billion and selling 0.34 million units for VND4.13 billion, accounting for 0.47 percent buying value and 1.06 percent selling value.

They actively bought VCG, DXP, EBS, PMC PVE while they actively offloaded PLC, KLS, BVS, VND and PVA shares.
