Bank Leumi signs deal with Vietnam

Bank Leumi Le-Israel Ltd has signed a loan agreement with Vietnam’s Ministry of Finance to help fund exports to the nation, the bank said Monday. The accord follows a US$150 million financial cooperation agreement set up between Israel and Vietnam in 2007. government-owned Israel Export Insurance Corp., known as Ashra, will insure the loans, the bank said.

Bank Hapoalim Ltd signed a similar agreement on April 10 and said the loans would serve Israeli exporters operating communications, agriculture and infrastructure industries.
