Bao Viet insurer gains 450b dong pre tax profit in 2011

Bao Viet Insurance Corp on January 12, 2012 organised a meeting to carry out its business tasks in 2012.

Ending 2011, the insurer earned revenue of over 5.775 trillion dong, rising over 17 percent from 2010 and its pre tax profit of nearly 450 billion dong, continuing to lead the non-life insurance market.

In 2012, Bao Viet insurer targets to reach total revenue of over 6.58 trillion dong, growing 14.5 percent on year and pre tax profit at 462 billion dong, rising nearly 3 percent compared to 2011′s actualised figure.

Also in 2012, the corporation will join and carry out the pilot project for agriculture insurance in 2011-2013 period as well as carry out the government’s pilot project for export credit insurance.
