BCI earns 2009 profit after tax of 209.2b dong, up 67pct y-o-y

Binh Chanh Construction and Investment Joint Stock Co (coded BCI) has lately released the business report in Q4 and the whole year of 2009. In Q4 only, BCI reported gaining 195.44 billion dong, decreasing 39.62 percent against the same period of last year, however Q4 profit after tax of 64.23 billion dong, about four times higher than Q4 of 2008 due to the fact that last year, BCI had suffered financial cost of over 37 billion dong.

The company’s progressive revenue in 2009 was estimated at 441.27 billion dong, down 9 percent against 2008 while after tax profit of 209.19 billion dong, up 67 percent in comparison with that of last year.

BCI reported to reach 2009 EPS of 3,863 dong per share.
