Bidv-Bac Giang expands lending

Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (Bidv)-Bac Giang branch has expanded the credit market to household businesses in Bac Giang province, particularly businesses investing into industrial zones, infrastructure of new urban areas in an effort to increase lending balance.
Thus, Bidv’s Bac Giang branch by the end of October recorded lending balance of 408 billion dong, 19% more than the full year plan. This is also the unit having the biggest lending balance to businesses in the provincial commercial bank system.
To date, Bidv’s Bac Giang has offered loans to additional 6,000 households with total loans of up to 70 billion dong. The bank has also offered short term loans worth more than 30 billion dong to renew plant breeds, to zone material areas serving for processing, to develop irrigation construction works, and so forth. Additionally, Bidv’s Bac Giang branch has lent some 160 billion dong to businesses developing big projects on industry and home industry such as paper production projects, production of package production for export and so forth.
