Bird flu claims another death

A person infected with bird flu died on July 25 at a hospital in the southern province of Tra Vinh. The man had been hospitalised for some time and was unconscious and was on life support machinery.
According to a test result sent by Tra Vinh general Hospital on July 27, the man tested positive for the H5N1 bird flu virus.
It is believed the man and his family had eaten a dead chicken that brought on the virus.
