BMC posts 137b dong revenue in Q2/2012

Binh Dinh Minerals Joint Stock Co (coded BMC) has reported its business and production results for the second quarter of 2012 with revenue of 137 billion dong, lifting the total figure in Jan-Jun to 242.1 billion dong, rising 80.8 percent from the same period last year and equalling 60.5 percent of the year’s plan.

In Q2/2012, BMC has finalised installation and successful trial run for the titanium slag furnace No 3 with designed capacity of 500 tonnes of slag per month. Currently, BMC is completing the installation for the fourth one and it is expected to start operations in July 2012.

Ending 2011, BMC gained 91.74 billion dong profit and paid 50 percent dividend.

In 2012, the company targets to bring 400 billion dong in revenue, pre tax profit at 100 billion dong and dividend payment at 30%.
