Both bourses rally April 6

After the trading session on April 6, the VN Index gained 7.74 points or 1.69 percent to 464.94 pts and the HNX Index also bounced 1.27 points or 1.4 percent to end at 91.83 pts.

On the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC), the total trading volume including matching order trade and negotiation transactions reached more than 26.46 million shares for over 601.86 billion dong, a day on day gain of 16.52 percent in volume but fall 1.52 percent in value.

On the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), the total market trades reached over 28 million shares valued at over 410.32 billion dong, up 25.48 percent in volume and 26.8 percent in value from the previous trading session.

At the time of closing the trading session today April 6, the southern bourse witnessed 190 gainers and 42 losers while on the northern floor, there were 200 gainers and 80 losers.

Notably, many shares increased strongly in price with high liquidity such as KSS, MCG, ITC, SSI, and VIS on the southern bourse and VCG, SHN, VND, and BVS on HNX.
