Both floors surge, most shares hit ceiling price

The Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (STC) today March 28 closed a week by seeing another surge on the stock market when the VN Index added another 3.95 points or 0.78% to 512.7 pts with the total matching order trade of nearly 2.6 million shares worth over 160 billion dong.

Among 153 shares and fund certificates being listed on the southern bourse, the stock market recorded only two shares decreasing and 146 shares hitting the ceiling price, all three fund certificates MAFPF1, PRUBF1 and VFMVF1 added 100 dong to 7,200 dong, 7,900 dong and 15,300 dong per fund certificate.
Two shares decreasing included BBC and ANV.

FPT reached the biggest trading volume with 360,310 shares, SJS with 251,940 shares, SSI with 147,950 shares and others HPG, MAFPF1, PVD and VIS.

Similarly, the Hanoi Securities Transaction Centre (HaSTC) also continued increasing on the stock market as the HaSTC Index added 2.7 points or 1.54% to end at 178.58 pts with the total market trade of 619,100 shares worth over 24 billion dong.
Amongst 133 listed shares on the northern bourse, there was no share decreasing, six shares with no trades and 127 shares increasing.

Six shares with no transactions were CID, HPS, HSC, SCC, VTV and YSC.

ACB was the biggest gainer when adding 1,700 dong and followed by S99 and VSP bounded 1,600 dong, BVS up 1,500, RCL and SCJ added 1,400, NBC bounced 1,300, SD2 and VDL jumped 1,200 and CDC, MIC, NTP, SD7, SDA and VC2 leaped 1,100 dong per share.

KLS took the pole place in trading volume with 71,500 shares, followed by BCC with 51,300 shares, PVI with 35,800 shares and RCL with 30,100 shares.
