Bourbon sugar company supports sugar cane farmers

The Bourbon Tay Ninh Sugar Co announced that in 2004, it will apply new policies to encourage sugar cane farmers, including: Non-refundable 700,000 dong grants for each hectare of sugar cane to be shifted from high to lower areas;

20,000 -30,000 dong grant for each tonne of good sugar cane;

Inter-field canals for low area irrigation

The Bourbon Tay Ninh Sugar Co hopes to have a stable sugar cane input sufficient to produce 90,000 tonnes of sugar each season.
