Brokerage market share of TLS down nearly 3pct in Q3
SSI of Saigon Securities Inc continued to take the leading position in brokerage market share of stocks and bonds with 15.81 percent and 90.62 percent on Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC) in Q3, according to the announcement of STC recently.
Particularly, SSI’s brokerage market share of stocks and fund certificates reached 15.81 percent in Q3, rising over 2.6 percent from Q2, taking the pole place on the southern bourse in Q3.
HCM City Securities Joint Stock Co (HSC) has been ranked second with over 8.71 percent, lower 7 percent than the market share of SSI.
Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank-STB)’s Securities Co (SBS) strived to be at the third place with 8.32 percent of the market share, increasing 3.45 percent from Q2.
However, Thang Long Securities Joint Stock Co (TLS) dropped from the third place in Q2 to the eighth position in Q3, or from 5.99 percent of market share in Q2 to 3.33 percent in Q3.
The total brokerage market share of 10 securities brokers on the southern bourse accounted for 59.06 percent of the whole market.
In Q3, only five securities companies joined bond brokerage activities. Of which, SSI topped the list with 90.6 percent of the market share to replace the position of Habubank Securities Co and followed by Sen Vang (Golden Lotus) Securities Joint Stock Co with 9.1 percent of the market share.
