* Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Company (DBD) has received approval from the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) to float 52.3 million shares on the main stock exchange on June 16. The shares will be traded at a starting price of VND48,000 each. The bour e currently applies a trading band ot 20 percent for debut listings. DBD has registered capital ofVND523.79 billion, of which Binh Dinh Development Investment Fund holds a 33.34 percent stake. The firm has developed distribution channel in 15 provinces and cities, with 18 branches and 49 drug stores nationwide.

* Taseco Air Services Company (AST) will spend VND72 billion paying a dividend ofVND2,000 per share for 2017 on the record date of June 19. Currently, the firm has 36 million outstanding shares. It will make the payment on July 5. In 2018, AST aims to earn a net profit of VND 160.6 billion from revenue ofVND907 billion, up 8 percent and 38 percent against last year, respectively. The firm also targets a dividend payout ratio of 20 percent to 40 percent this year.

* Thanh Thanh Cong Investment Company bought the remaining 48.9 million shares of Sai Gon Thuong Tin Real Estate Company (SCR) from SCR’issuance for its existing shareholders on May 31. After the transactions, Thanh Thanh Cong Investment Company raised its holdings in SCR to 22.04%, or 69.9 million shares, from the earlier 7.82%. SCR also spent D537 billion buying a 100 percent stake in Hung Anh Nam Real Estate Trading Investment Joint Stock Company, the investor of a 5,000-square-m.eter housing project on Vo Van Kiet Avenue in HCMe.

* Mai Linh Mien Bac Company (MLN) will delist from the market for unlisted public enterprises, or UPCoM, on June 29 as part of its scheme to merge with Mai Linh Mien Trung Company. The taxi firm is trading over 48.6 million shares on the UPCoM at around VND2,000 per share.

* IE Securities Company has offloaded 550,000 shares of Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Company (TDB) to cut its ownership to 1.1 million share, or a. 3.9 percent tak e. Earlier, the brokerage firm was a major shareholder at TDB, with a 5.8 percent holding.
