* OPC Pharmaceutical Company (OPC) is seeking shareholder approval to issue 1.26 million employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) shares, or 5 percent of its total outstanding volume. It will sell the shares at VND15,000 each versus the current market price ofVND56,000. The issuance plan will be conducted in the second or the third quarter of 2018. The ESOP shares will have a lock- up period of two years.

* Lix Detergent Company (LIX) plans to spend VND103.6 billion paying a 2017 cash dividend for shareholders at 32%. The amount accounts for 70 percent of the firm’s after-tax profit last year. In 2018, LIX plans to offer a dividend payout ratio of 30%.

* Southern Gas Trading Company (PGS) aims for a pre-tax profit ofVND135.9 billion on revenue ofVND5.9 trillion in 2018, up 23.9 percent and down 2.8 percent against last year respectively. The company plans to manufacture nearly 297,000 tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas, increasing 4.5%. The firm also expects to produce 370,000 gas cylinders this year, down a slight 0.4%. PGS plans to pay a dividend ofVND1,500 per share for 2018.

* Vinh Hoan Corporation (VHC) gained export earnings ofUS$75.6 million in the first quarter of this year, up 30 percent year-on-year, VHC plans to earn $350 million from exports in 2018, up 17 percent compared to the previous year.

* Song Da Hoang Long Company has registered to buy 2.5 million shares of Northwest Electricity Investment and Development Company (NED) from now to April 27. Currently, the investor is holding over 24.2 million shares at NED, or a 66.9 percent stake.

* Four investors snapped up nearly 3.7 million shares, or an 80.83 percent stake, of Tay Ninh Trade and Tourism Company (TTT) sold byTayNinhProvince’s authorities on April 5. In which, Anh Duong Construction and Consulting Co Ltd acquired 914,000 shares, or a 20 percent stake, Olympia Co Ltd picked 769,000 shares (16.8%), Dia Cau ISC bought 914,000 shares (20%) and Mat Troi Tay inh Co Ltd acquired nearly 1.1 million shares (24%). TIT share price is around VND61,000 on the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
