* Viet Capital Securities Company (VCI) has decided to sell 23,500 treasury shares to employees at VND20,OOO each, way below the market price of around VND101,OOO. The shares are available for transaction. In 2018, VCI looks to make VND1.7 trillion in revenue and VND1 trillion in pre-tax profit, up 11.6 percent and 25.9 percent versus last year respectively.

* Landmark Holding Company, formerly known as Thang Long International JSC, has applied to trade 23.3 million shares on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange. Established in 2012, the firm is active in the petroleum trading and property sectors.

* Woomi Construction Group has announced to buy 10.2 million shares of Bamboo Capital Company (BCG) and 1.7 million shares of Transport and Industry Development Investment Company (TCD) to secure 9.5 percent and 5 percent stakes respectively.

* Vietnam Dairy Products Company (VNM) has decided to pay a 2018 interim cash dividend ofVND2,OOO a share. The record date is September 6 and the payment date September 26. The company will also issue bonus shares at a ratio of 5-for-1, meaning investors will get one new share for every five shares held. This year, VNM is expected to pay a total cash dividend ofVND6,OOO per share.

* Minh Phu Seafood Corporation (MPC) said its consolidated net profit soared 2.38-fold year-on-year to VND101.7 billion in the first quarter of this year. Its consolidated revenue climbed 14.5 percent to around VND3 trillion in the period. Besides, it plans to move its listing of 70 million shares to the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE) from the unlisted public company market (UPCoM) this year. In 2015, MPC canceled its listing on HOSE to restructure its operation and seek foreign partners. It started trading shares on the UPCoM in October 2017 at a starting price of VND79,OOO each.

* The State Securities Commission Has given approval to Tam Dung Investment JSC to transfer over seven million shares, or a 44.36 percent stake, in Dai Nam Securities Company to Hoa Sen Trading and Investment JSC. The brokerage firm plans to list on a local stock exchange this year.
