* FLC Group Company (FLC) plans to issue 44.7 million shares to pay a share dividend at a 100-for-7 ratio for 2017 in the

second quarter of this year. FLC plans to pay a dividend of 10 percent of par value for 2016, including a cash dividend of VND300 per share and a share dividend at a 100-for-7 ratio. In 2017, the company expects its revenue to double to VND13 trillion, with net profit estimated at VND984 billion.

* PetroVietnam Fertiliser and Chemicals Corporation (DPM) has released first-quarter results, with revenue edging up

by 2.2 percent to VND2 trillion and pre-tax profit dipping 45 percent year-on-year to VND270 billion. The dramatic profit drop was mainly caused by a 14 percent drop in urea sales volume. Meanwhile, input gas prices, which surged 60 percentyear-on-year, and oil prices outweighed its 6 percent increase in urea prices, said Viet Capital Securities Company.

* Dong Phu Rubbei Company (DPR) reported pre-tax profit ofVND98.7 billion in the first quarter of this year, meeting 51.6 percent of the yar’s target. The company plans to pay a dividend of 30 percent of par value for 2017. The rubber firm has also approved a plan to pay a dividend of 50 percent of the face value for 2016, of which an interim dividend of 10 percent was paid in 2016 and the remainder will be paid in 2017.

* SMC InvestrnentTrading Company (SMC) will spend VND14.7 billion paying the third-round dividend of VND500 per share for 2016 on the record date of April 20. The company will make payments on May 4.

* Postal Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company has acquired three million shares of Nam Mu Hydropower Company (HJS) to spur its ownership

from 8.2 percent to 22.7 percent.

* Southern Waterborne Transport Corporation (SWC) estimated net profit of VND465 billion in the first quarter of the

year. The figure fulfilled 95 percent of the firm’s full-year target, helped by the sale of its entire stake at the aigon Centre commercial

and office building project inHCMCity. Its revenue was expected at VND611 billion in the January-March period, meeting 85 percent of the year’s plan, said vietstock. vn,
