C.banker asks credit institutions to report on deposits and lending in gold

The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) on March 10 issued a Dispatch No 1962/NHNN-CSTT asking credit institutions to report on the deposits and lending operations in gold.

In order to have the foundation for the consideration and amendment of the mechanism of mobilising and lending in gold of credit institutions, the central banks required these credit institutions to report on the capital mobilising and lending in gold and the actualised capital from gold mobilisation to the central bank no later than June 30, 2011.

At the same time, these credit institutions must provide the figures in accordance with the form required by the central bank.
