Cashew nut export shortage

Seventy two members of Vietnam Cashew Nut Association (Vinacas) are worrying

because cashew nut prices are dropping in international market and at the same

time domestic raw cashew nut resources are unable to meet processing demand.

This year Vinacas aims to buy 150,000 tonnes of domestic raw cashew nut and to

further import 50,000 tonnes of raw cashew nuts to process 42,000 tonnes of

cashew nut.
