Vietnam spent US$27 million importing 1,300 Complete Built Units (cars) in January and the number of imported CBUs in February was the same but the spending was a bit higher at US$30 million, according to the General Statistical Office (GSO).

Thus, the average CBU import spending in the first two months of 2009 was equal to the half of last December’s US$57.3 million with a volume of 2,000 vehicles.
