China’s ICBC scales back resources lending to focus on agriculture

One of the world’s largest banks, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, is scaling back its lending to the Australian resources sector on fears the mining boom is coming to an end.

The head of the ICBC’s local operations, Han Ruixiang, revealed the bank was instead keen to increase its exposure to agriculture.
