CMC Corp estimates to gain 2009 profit of 147b dong

CMC Group Joint Stock Co (CMC Corp) reported to gain total revenue of over 3.755 trillion dong in 2009, pre-tax profit of 147 billion dong, increasing by 65 percent and 32 percent year-on-year respectively on January 11, 2010.

In which, revenue gained from software sector remained at high growth rate, in terms of revenue and profit. In details, trading software brought in 130.69 billion dong in revenue and 20.52 billion dong of profit last year, equal to an increase of 36 percent and 40 percent respectively against 2008.

The corporation’s distribution of ICT products reported to gain significant results, counting for 191 percent of revenue and 98 percent of profit. In the field of instalment and telecommunication with internet services, data services and other value-added ones, the company also retained at stable growth rate in both revenue and profit of 22 percent and 60 percent respectively.

On the same day, CMC announced to hold an introduction session about the company’s investment opportunities in Hanoi and HCM with the subject of “CMG Technological Stock – opportunities for investors. The session will take place in Hanoi on January 12 at Conference Room, Floor 1, CMC Tower in C1A Plot of Industrial Complex, Dich Vong Hau Ward, Cau Giay Dist, Hanoi and in HCM on January 15, at Mekong Hall, New World Saigon Hotel, No 76 Le Lai St, Dist 1, and HCM City.

It’s expected that CMC Group will list over 63.5 million shares under the share code of CMG on Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC), starting from January 22, 2010.
