Coal firm reports gaining H1 revenue of 1.56tr dong

Vinacomin-Cao Son Coal Joint Stock Co (coded TCS) reported gaining accumulative revenue of 1.56 trillion dong in the first half of 2011.

In the first six months, the company has mined about 2.4 million tonnes of coal, fulfilling 58 percent of the year plan. The consumption volume was posted at 2.1 million tonnes.

In Q3, TCS aimed to reach total mining volume of 800,000 tonnes and sales volume of 950,000 tonnes, bringing in revenue of 703 billion dong.

In 2011, the coal firm set targets to reach whole-year mining volume of about 4 million tonnes of coal.
