Corporations 91 to turn to holding companies

The Office of the Government announced the conclusion of deputy prime minister, Nguyen Tan Dung on the modified planning of reorganising subsidiaries of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, maritime, airlines, shipbuilding industry and railway corporations.
Accordingly, Corporations 91 will be restructured under model of a holding company in trend of large economic groups.
Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Corp (Vinashin) and Automobile Industry Corp will have to promptly finalise their pilot plans of general director leasing and submit them to the government for decision in May.
