Cotana officially lists shares on northern bourse November 2

Thanh Nam Investment and Construction Joint Stock Co (Cotana) has received Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX)’s approval for listing 2.5 million shares on the stock market under the share code of CSC.

It’s supposed that Cotana’s shares will be officially traded on the northern bourse on November 2. The company has considered it an important opportunity for accessing the working capital to serve for investment projects in the near future.

Thanh Nam Investment and Construction JSC were established in 1993, specialising in sectors of construction and real estate investment. The company, with chartered capital of 25 billion dong, has 14 member companies, eight factories and one branch in HCM City

The company has carried out some large projects such as Kim Lien Hotel and Office Building, Ruby Trade Centre.

The total contract value that Cotana has signed in 2009 has reached over 500 billion dong, which is expected to surpass the company’s year plan.

At present, Cotana has cooperated with other partners in producing safe construction glasses of TSQ-Window, commercial concrete and concrete structure, interior decoration equipment in Ngoc Liep Industrial Complex, Quoc Oai Dist, Hanoi.

Recently, the company set up a joint venture of BMS – Thanh Nam Co Ltd with South Korea-based BooWon-BMS Co with main business lines of producing steel structures.

In the field of real estate investment, Cotana cooperated with Vihajico to carry out construction works on Ecopark urban area, and with Hudland in urban area projects of Van Canh, Viet Hung and Bac Ninh.

The company has set up Thanh Nam Real Estate Investment and Development Co (ThanhNam Land) and got approval from the city’s functional authority to carry out the upgrading work for one apartment in Nam Thanh Cong residential quarter.
