Credit growth of Hanoi-based banks reaches 2.1pct in Jan-Jun
Till the end of June 2012, the total deposits of Hanoi-based credit institutions are estimated to have reached 826.205 trillion dong, rising 1.4 percent from the end of previous month and 0.53 percent from the end of 2011, according to the figures given by Hanoi Statistics Office.
Of which, savings would rise 0.8 percent on month and 9.9 percent on year respectively, valuable paper issue up 0.9 percent and down 18.4 percent and payment savings surged 1.9 percent on month and tumbled 1.6 percent on year.
The total outstanding loans in June are estimated to have reached 598.221 trillion dong, growing 0.5 percent from the end of previous month and 2.1 percent over the end of 2011, of which, short term loans increased 0.8 percent on month and 0.7 percent on year and medium and long term loans surged 0.2 percent and 4.3 percent respectively.
