Dealing with delayed payment of import duties
Under Official Letter 926/TCHQ-KTTT dated March 11, 2005 by the General Department of Customs, businesses who are fined for delayed payment of import duty are allowed to delay suspension of import-export activities for certain time if such businesses meet the following requirements :
Not owing import-export duties of other lots of goods
Committing in a written document to accept final decisions on fining delayed payment by the Ministry of Finance
Paying import duty of newly imported goods upon maturity
