Drive to make Dung Quat an economic zone

The management board of the Dung Quat Industrial Zone said that the zone would attract 15 more projects worth around US$ 250–300 million in 2003 if the construction of the Dung Quat Refinery No 1 is sped up.

So far there are 25 projects totalling US$412 million and 230 billion dong registered to operate in the zone.

At present, a plan to turn Dung Quat industrial zone in to an economic zone is underway.
