Duc Thanh wood processor estimates to reach whole-year profit of 45b dong

The STC-listed Duc Thanh Wood Processing Joint Stock Co (coded GDT) announced to earn accumulative pre-tax profit of 42.4 billion dong after the first 11 months of this year. The company expected to reach whole-year profit of 45 billion dong, surpassing 15 percent of the year plan, and increasing by 19 percent against the previous year.

The company was seeking for approval from shareholders to raise the 2010 dividend from 15 percent to 20 percent.

Previously, the company aimed to reach targeted export turnover of 148 billion dong and sales revenue from domestic markets of 32 billion dong.

In the near future, the company planned to expand production scale and increase the production capacity in two factories in HCM City and Binh Duong province.
