Easy bank loan access to efficient SMEs

Small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that operate efficiently and clear all bank loans upon maturity will be entitled to borrow loans at commercial banks without having to mortgage assets, according to the central bank’s deputy governor Phung Khac Ke.

The SBV will reportedly allow credit institutions to use the deposited capital to establish a credit guarantee fund for SMEs. And commercial banks will work with the fund to decide on the line of credit lent to the SMEs.
