EVE’s profit decreases by 32pct in Q2/2012

Everpia Vietnam JSC (EVE) has recently announced its holding company’s financial statements. Accordingly, in Q2/2012 EVE reached 163.1 billion dong of revenue, down 7.5 percent year-on-year. Profit after tax was 24.5 billion dong, down 32.4 compared with Q2/2011.

Consolidated profit in Q2 was 58.6 billion dong, down 8 percent on year; financial revenue was 3.86 billion dong, down 59%, management cost and cost of sale was respectively 19 billion dong and 12.6 billion dong, up 55.5 percent and 8 percent on year.

Cumulatively in the first six months, EVE reached 298 billion dong of revenue, down 11.5 percent compared with Jan-Jun period in 2011. Profit after tax in six months gained 39 billion dong, down 47 percent year-on-year.
