Extra 1tr dong of soft loans allocated
State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has reported that the dong outstanding loans till August 20 reached nearly 396.051 trillion dong, increasing by 1.012 trillion dong or 0.25 percent from August 13. This is the lowest growth in a week since the lending rate subsidisation package was launched.
In which, the soft loans provided by state commercial banks and central credit people’s funds were over 273.663 trillion dong, down 595.74 billion dong or 0.21 percent, while those of joint stock banks were estimated at 97.146 trillion dong, rising by 1.042 trillion dong or 1.08 percent, of joint ventures and foreign bank branches 20.288 trillion dong, of finance companies at more than 4.953 trillion dong, up 202.629 billion dong (4.26 percent).
State enterprises borrowed 62.317 trillion dong, private companies 263.584 trillion dong and production households 70.150 trillion dong.
