Fines in science research activities

The Office of the Government issued Decree 127/2004/DN-CP dated May 31, 2004 on administrative fines in the field of science and technology. Accordingly, a fine of up to 40 million dong is applicable against acts of appropriation of the science and technology research results. In addition, economic organisations and individuals operating in the field of science and technology receive sponsorships or funding illegally can be fined up to 20 million dong.
