Fines on violations of fees and charges collection and payment

The prime minister on September 23 issued a decree providing guidance on fines applicable to administrative violations in fees and charges collection and payment.

Accordingly, violations concerning the provided authority in fees and charges collection can be fined from 20-50 million dong. Organisations and individuals that commit administrative violations in the field will be subject to either reprimand or pecuniary penalty.

First violation of regulations on fees and charges exemption and reduction will be reprimanded, but subsequent violations will be subject to pecuniary penalty.

Violators will be revoked the business license and confiscated exhibits related to the violation depending on violation scale.
