First e-property site with digital maps debuts

The first online real estate exchange with detailed geographic maps in Vietnam was launched March 16. The website at www.basao.com.vn is operated by DMC, a Hanoi-based property group, and applies the geographic information system (GIS) technology.
Via the exchange’s digital geographic maps, customers are able to get detailed property information in every single locality in the country. The Web site’s digital map system includes the administrative maps of the whole country, province, city, district, town and street.
It is also regularly updated with the latest detailed land planning maps of each province which have been approved by the government.
