FMC witnesses sharp increase in production in Jan

Sao Ta Food Joint Stock Co (coded FMC) has lately released the business results in January with positive figures. In details, the company reported to reach processing volume of 436 tonnes of shrimp, bringing in revenue of $6.3 million in January, increasing by 16.9 percent and 43.2 percent respectively in comparison with the same period of 2010.

In order to seek new export orders and markets, the company would participate in Boston Seafood Fair in the US to be held in early March.

The company expected to gain total revenue of 2 trillion dong and pre-tax profit of 40 billion dong in 2012.
