Footwear exports to reach US$2.6b

With an average export of US$250–270 million per month in late this year, footwear exports are likely to attain US$2.6–2.65 billion for the full year.
So far, total footwear export reached more than US$2.3 billion of which the export ratio to the EU market accounts for 80%.
Many new markets posting a strong consumption of Vietnamese footwear include Thailand, Korea, Taiwan. Such big markets as the EU, Japan, and the US are also increasing footwear demand, particularly high-class footwear products.
