The annual general meeting (AGM) of FPT Telecommunication Joint Stock Co (FPT Telecom) on May 20 passed 2010 business results and targets in 2011.
Accordingly, ending the fiscal year 2010, the company gained 2/457 trillion dong revenue, up 33 percent year-on-year and after tax profit at 601.4 billion dong, rising 11 percent against 2009′s.
The after tax profit of the holding company was 473 billion dong, equalling to the earnings per share (EPS) at 5,721 dong.
Also in 2010, FPT Telecom developed 14 more branches and restructured its member companies, merged three member companies namely FPT Online, FPT Communications and FPT Visky and finalised the chartered capital increase to 831 billion dong.
In 2011, FPT Telecom targets to bring three trillion dong in revenue, growing 23 percent year-on-year, and profit at 700 billion dong, growing 16.4 percent year-on-year.
The company’s AGM also agreed to pay 2010 dividend at 25 percent in cash (2,500 dong per share), of which, the company has made a temporary payment of 1,000 dong per share, and dividend payment in shares at the ratio of 5:1.
The dividend payout in 2011 for shareholders is expected to be at not lower than 2,000 dong per share.
The AGM also passed a plan to offer 641,716 common shares to staff who gained business achievements in 2010. The share issuance is authorised to the company’s director board after getting license from the State Securities Commission (SSC).
Currently, the state shareholder still hold stake into FPT Telecom.
