FPT Telecom to pay 10pct dividend in cash

FPT Telecommunication Joint Stock Co (FPT Telecom) has recently announced to close the shareholders list for purpose of paying 2011 dividend in cash.

Accordingly, the ex-dividend session would be September 13, 2011 and registration deadline of September 15. The dividend will be paid in cash at 10 percent from September 26.

In H1 of 2011, FPT Telecom reported gaining total revenue of over 1.561 trillion dong, a year-on-year increase of 35.2 percent while after tax profit of 267.59 billion dong, up 11.54 percent. In April-June only, the company reached revenue and after tax profit of 825.59 billion dong and 120.5 billion dong respectively.

At present, the company has chartered capital of 831.07 billion dong, of which FPT Group held 40.94 percent of total stake.
